Kerri WALSH JENNINGS Biografie
Kerri Walsh played volleyball at Stanford, where she was a four-time first-team All-American. After college, she played on the US National team in indoor volleyball, competing at the 2000 Olympics in that sport, finishing fourth as a team. After the 2000 Olympics, she turned to beach volleyball, and Walsh teamed up with Misty May. Together they would form the most dominant female beach volleyball pair ever, winning gold medals in 2004 and 2008 and winning 112 consecutive matches, a streak broken shortly after the 2008 Olympics. However, the two came back, after some time off, to win their third consecutive gold medal at London in 2012. Walsh is married to Casey Jennings, who is also a professional beach volleyball player. Although Misty May retired after the London Olympics, Walsh continued to compete with other partners.
