Competing in Chamonix with brakesmen René Mortiaux, Paul Van den Broek, Victor Verschueren, and Henri Willems, Mulder steered the bob to third place in all runs, earning a bronze medal overall. He was also successful in ice hockey playing for Le Puck d'Anvers.
