Riau Ega Agatha caused a major upset in the Second Round of the Men's Individual Archery at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in beating top seed and two-time world champion Kim Woo-jin.
Kim had broken the world record in the ranking round the previous day but went out after a brilliant performance by Ega Agatha, who was seeded 33rd.
However, the Indonesian's run ended in the last 16 as he was beaten by Italian Mauro Nespoli.
Ega Agatha was also a member of the Indonesia team eliminated at the Quarter-Final stage.
After finishing 10th in the ranking round, he and team-mates Hendra Purnama and Muhammad Wijaya beat Chinese Taipei in the first round but succumbed to eventual silver medallists United States in the last eight.
Ega Agatha has gold and silver medals from the team events at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games and gold in the mixed team event in the 2013 Islamic Solidarity Games.
