- Representing CAN
Roseline Filion has proved her talents in individual diving but it is as a synchro specialist where she has truly shone.
The Canadian has teamed up with Meaghan Benfeito to take 10m Synchro gold at the Commonwealth Games and Pan American Games and has two Olympic bronze medals and three further medals at World Championships level.
Filion’s first taste of international success came when the pair won bronze at the World Championships in Montreal in 2005.
There was a long wait for the next major medal, a Pan American Games 10m Synchro silver in 2011. But a year after that came the first taste of Olympic glory, London 2012 seeing the duo secure bronze - a feat they repeated four years later in Rio.
Fillion has often claimed the pair have an almost telepathic understanding and their longevity and consistency has backed that up with medals.
In 2013 an eight-year wait for further World Championships success came to an end when the duo took silver in Barcelona, with another silver following two years later in Kazan.
Benfeito and Filion were also crowned Commonwealth champions at Glasgow 2014 and Pan American champions at Toronto 2015.
