Surfing: ISA World Surfing Games

The ISA World Surfing Games bring together the best national surfing teams from all over the world - follow it live on the Olympic Channel. Broadcast dates will be the 22nd and the 27th/28th of May. (Territorial restrictions may apply.)

An ancient Hawaiian tradition of "he'e nalu" meaning "wave sliding" using wooden boards is believed to be the first occurence of surfing. Now, thousands of years later, the sport is becoming an Olympic discipline in Tokyo 2020.
