Just days after they lost 6-5 on penalties to second division side Holstein Kiel to bow out of the DFB Cup, Bayern Munich will look to keep their Bundesliga campaign on track when they host Freiburg at the Allianz Arena on Sunday.
Despite their manager Hansi Flick naming a strong side for the midweek Cup action, the Bavarians fell short against Holstein Kiel. The Bundesliga champions were relatively goal shy and Bayern could have done better than ending 2-2 after regulation time versus Kiel.

After an indifferent start to the season, Freiburg have been on a solid run since December, winning five straight matches.
