Indian football fans will get to see defending champions Bayern Munich in action again when Bundesliga’s 2020-21 season kicks off on Saturday.

Bayern Munich, also the UEFA Champions League winners, will start against Schalke at the Allianz Arena with the Bavarians looking to extend their extraordinary unbeaten streak of 30 matches across all competitions.

Bayern Munich kick-off their Bundesliga 2020-21 campaign by hosting FC Schalke on September 19.

Bayern’s arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund start their campaign against Borussia Monchengladbach later on Saturday. Dortmund ended as the Bundesliga runners-up for the second consecutive time last season.

RB Leipzig take on Mainz on Sunday and will be optimistic for the Bundesliga 2020-21 season after a promising run in the UEFA Champions League campaign last season. RB Leipzig made their maiden UCL semi-final appearance last month.
