EXO "trembling" as they performed at Olympics!

Renowned K-Pop band rocked the stage in spite of nerves

Even the biggest stars on the planet get nervous at the Olympics.

Chart-topping K-pop music sensations EXO perform in packed stadiums to tens-of-thousands of adoring fans on a daily basis.

So surely stage-fright is a thing of the past?

But band-member Xiumin has now admitted that he and the rest of the group were "trembling" during their performance at the PyeongChang 2018 Closing Ceremony.

Speaking on tvN's "Life Bar", the 27-year-old said, "We were trembling, partly because we were nervous, but it was also really windy and very cold that day. So we kept trembling for two different reasons. But luckily, we were able to finish the performance without any problems."

The nine-member group performed hits including "Growl" and "Power" during the ceremony, which was broadcast live around the globe to an audience of millions.

Historic Event

The announcement that EXO would be appearing in the PyeongChang showcase crashed the internet in South Korea.

Their performance closed out 17-days of sporting action, which proved to be historic for the region, as athletes from North and South Korea entered the stadium together under the unification flag, and competed as a unified team in women's ice hockey.

Xiumin summed up the sense of occasion:

"It felt different from [normal concerts]. Because it was an international event and people all over the world were watching, it was a true once-in-a-lifetime honour. I was so honoured."

Band-member Suho also clearly loved the Olympic experience, posting the following image to EXO's millions of social media followers:

The boy band also relished their meeting with International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach.

Fellow K-pop star CL was also involved in the closing spectacular, which included a stunning firework display.
