The Catalans completed the 2019/20 Spanish domestic double thanks to goals from Alexia Putellas, Aitana Bonmati and Jennifer Hermoso.
FC Barcelona proved that they are in a league of their own in Spain this season, beating CDEF Logroño 3-0 to win the Copa de la Reina on Saturday (13 February) and complete the 2019/20 Spanish domestic double.
This final, delayed by the COVID pandemic, was held in Malaga's La Rosaleda stadium.
Barcelona have won 16 league games out of 16 so far this season, including a 6-0 home thrashing of today's opponents, and were strong favourites to claim another triumph.
They dominated possession in the first half but it was not until four minutes before the break that they went in front thanks to a penalty from Alexia Putellas.
Marta Cazalla was adjudged to have brought down the Spain winger, but it looked a dubious decision with the Logroño players clearly agrieved.
Putellas easily beat veteran Mexican goalkeeper Pamela Tajonar from the spot, and Barcelona doubled their lead moments later.
It was a fine individual goal from Aitana Bonmati, running at the Logroño defence before firing home from the edge of the area.
With the underdogs barely able to get into the Barça half, it was a question of how many the reigning league champions would score.
The third came in the 61st minute, Jennifer Hermoso heading home Leila Ouahabi's cross.
Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala, on as a second-half substitute, should have made it four but missed with the goal gaping from Caroline Hansen's centre.
It mattered not, as the Catalans clinched their sixth Copa de la Reina in comfortable fashion.
Bonmati told Barça TV afterwards, "Logroño made it difficult until we scored the first goal. We couldn't play this final last year, and now it's time to celebrate."
