Rohit Sharma will lead out the Mumbai Indians against David Warner’s Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2020. Watch MI vs SRH live.
Former champions Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad will both be chasing a second-consecutive victory in the Indian Premier League when they take on each other at Sharjah in Sunday’s afternoon game.
SRH captain David Warner will come into the match confident of his bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan’s prowess as they successfully defended a relatively low 162 against an in-form Delhi Capitals in their last outing.
SRH’s batting is still a concern but openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow seem to be hitting off at the right time while Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey’s presence solidifies the middle-order.
Runs in the death overs could be a concern but youngsters Abdul Samad and Abhishek Sharma are capable of providing them, especially with the small size of the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Watch MI vs SRH on live streaming.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians returned to winning ways with a dominating 48-run victory over Kings XI Punjab in their last game.
MI captain Rohit Sharma continued his good nick but what will please him more is the return to form for all-rounder Hardik Pandya. Pandya combined with Kieron Pollard to plunder 67 runs in the last four overs against KXIP, which effectively won MI the match.
Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult have worked very well in tandem while Aussie James Pattinson has looked solid as the third pacer. Young leggie Rahul Chahar has been impressive with his variations, which ensures that MI has a reliable bowling attack.
