Latest reaction to Kobe Bryant's death
Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant has died in a helicopter crash, according to reports.
The two-time Olympic gold medallist was 41.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Bryant's 13-year-old daughter Gianna, one of his four daughters, also was killed in the crash.
Early reports said five people were on board but LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva later confirmed on Sunday that nine people came down with the helicopter.
There were no survivors.
The Associated Press reported that the crash happened around 10 a.m. local time about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzer said it was a Sikorsky S-76 and it was not known what caused the crash.
