Real Madrid will be hoping to extend their winning streak when they face Real Sociedad on Monday. After Barcelona dropped points against Sevilla on Saturday, the La Liga title race is now even closer than before.

Real Sociedad are racing against time to get their star player and Real Madrid loanee Martin Odegaard fit for the big fixture. Martin Odegaard had sustained a muscular injury during Real Sociedad’s loss to Alaves.

For Real Sociedad, the key to success this season has pretty much depended on 21-year-old Martin Odegaard, who has combined brilliantly with Mikel Oyarzabal upfront.
Apart from the duo, the club has also seen striker William Jose and winger Portu netting 16 goals between them.
Real Madrid have scored six times in two matches since returning to action last week and forward Karim Benzema has been the forefront of it. The French striker has 16 goals and six assists to his name this season, so far.
The emergence of Eden Hazard, since joining from Chelsea last summer, has also been notable in recent matches.
