Indian football fans can gear up for an entertaining Madrid Derby in La Liga as Spanish giants Real Madrid locks horns with Atletico Madrid on Sunday.

Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, are the only unbeaten team in La Liga 2020-21 and come into this contest following a 2-0 victory over Salzburg in the UEFA Champions League, with goals from Mario Hermoso and Yannick Carrasco. The win confirmed Atletico’s presence in the UCL round of 16.
This El Derbi Madrileño (Madrid Derby) promises to be an exciting one as the Diego Simeone-coached Atletico Madrid haven’t won against Real Madrid in La Liga since 2016 but Simeone’s men can take confidence from their unbeaten run in the league this season. Real Madrid’s coach Zinedine Zidane will miss the services of Eden Hazard and Martin Odegaard, while city-rivals Atleti will be without striker Diego Costa and Jose Gimenez.
In the other big fixture of matchweek 13, Barcelona will look to steady their ship when they host Levante on Monday.
The Lionel Messi-led Barcelona fell to a 3-0 defeat against Juventus at home in their last match in the UEFA Champions League after losing to Cadiz last weekend in La Liga.
