Barcelona will look to arrest their patchy form in La Liga when they take on the newly-promoted Cadiz CF at the Estadio Ramón de Carranza on Sunday.
The Catalan giants have had an uncharacteristic start to the La Liga 2020-21 season having won just four, lost three and drawn two of their nine matches so far.
They are placed seventh on the points table and will be eager to get their act together with matches coming thick and fast during the Christmas season.
Cadiz, meanwhile, are having quite a time in La Liga so far with four wins, four losses and three draws in their 11 games.
Though most of their wins this season have come against lower-ranked teams, the Álvaro Cervera-coached side accounted for champions Real Madrid, whom they beat 1-0 in October.
It’s this unpredictability that Barcelona will have to be wary of when the two teams face off this matchweek. Watch Cadiz vs Barcelona and get La Liga live streaming in India.
The Lionel Messi-led side has recorded some convincing wins in the UEFA Champions League - the most recent a resounding 3-0 triumph at Ferencvaros - despite their talisman being rested for the European fixtures with an eye on the packed schedule.
In the Argentine’s absence, the likes of Martin Braithwaite and Antoine Griezmann have stepped up to the task, helping the Catalan side to commanding wins in their last three outings after suffering a 1-0 setback against Atletico Madrid.
Meanwhile, for Cadiz, captain Salvador Ponce and the former Sevilla star Álvaro Negredo have led the team, as they look to upset another of the La Liga giants against Barcelona.
This week will also see La Liga champions Real Madrid take on Sevilla, a team that’s looked threatening in the initial phase of the 2020-21 season.
Led by their young attacking combination of Youssef En-Nesyri, Munir El Haddadi and Luuk de Jong, the Los Palanganas have looked menacing in the attacking third with the ever-reliable Ivan Rakitic pulling the strings in the midfield.
