A struggling Arsenal welcome Chelsea to the Emirates Stadium for a Boxing Day London Derby in matchweek 15 of the Premier League 2020-21 season.
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal have had a torrid time this season and currently sit 15th on the PL points table. The Gunners are winless in their last seven PL fixtures, losing five of them and find themselves just four points clear of the relegation zone. Watch Arsenal vs Chelsea in the EPL live in India.
Goal scoring has been the major issue for Arsenal domestically. They have scored just 12 times this season.
To make matters worse, star goal scorer and club captain Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang is doubtful for Saturday due to a calf injury which kept the Gabonese striker out of Arsenal's last two matches, including the 4-1 Carabao Cup quarter-final loss to Manchester City.
Midfield enforcer Thomas Partey is sure to miss out, making Arsenal more vulnerable against Frank Lampard’s free-scoring Chelsea side.
Chelsea, meanwhile, sit fifth in a highly-congested top half of the table and will look to take full advantage of Arsenal's poor form to keep pace in the title race.
After a fine start to the season, Frank Lampard's men suffered back-to-back losses but returned to winning ways in matchweek 14 courtesy a 3-0 win over West Ham.
Tammy Abraham starred with a brace and will be central to Chelsea's attacking endeavours against Arsenal, considering Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic have all struggled in front of goal recently.
Ben Chilwell and Reece James' injuries, though, may leave Lampard's men a little vulnerable in fullback positions.
In other key games of matchweek 15, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United will look to continue their surge up the table when they visit Leicester City.
The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last seven Premier League outings and Bruno Fernandes and Co. will look to improve the record against Brendan Rodgers’ men.
Reigning champions Liverpool host West Brom while Pep Guardiola's Manchester City welcome Newcastle United to the blue side of Manchester.
