Alexi Pappas thrilled all of Greece by setting a national 10,000m record in the Olympic final at Rio 2016. But right after the emotional high... her mental health spiralled downward. The 30-year-old runner is opening up so that others don't have to endure what she went through. "My dad made me get help, which was really life saving. But it was really pivotal meeting my psychiatrist and having him tell me quite quite simply that I was sick and that it was like having a scratch on my brain," she tells us.
