To help remedy this situation, the International Olympic Committee is partnering with the UN Refugee Agency and together we are on a mission to provide light to a refugee camp. Our vision is to build a better world through sport. The Olympic athletes are beacons of positivity who carry the Olympic Spirit, spreading it to all corners of the world and inspiring everyone to become beacons of positivity themselves.
We are on a mission to transform this positivity into light by bringing it to four key refugee camp sectors: the streets, sports areas, households and community spaces. And we’re asking everyone to get involved.
